They encompass what Concepcioun is about: contemporary, unique, simple and elegant, organized, motivational.
Concepcioun Handmade Gifts specializes in handmade books, journals, notepads, and custom wedding guest books. The company is managed and owned by Syracuse/Central New York-based graphic designer, Christine Walker.
Concepcioun has been a work in progress since 2005 until January of 2009, when Christine decided to make her craft of handmade journals and books into a serious small business venture.
Christine's first exposure to bookmaking was from a guest bookbinder in one of her college design courses. From that point on, she was intrigued by the craft and began pursuing a self-taught quest into bookbinding. For almost a decade, Christine has been incorporating her design skills into making Concepcioun the best that it can be.
